A disqualified company director has been sentenced to eight months imprisonment by Birmingham Crown Court after managing a company whilst being disqualified to act as a Director.
Allan Court pled guilty and was subsequently convicted following an investigation by The Insolvency Service and a full criminal investigation by the Department for Business Innovation and Skills (BIS).
“The conviction shows that people who break disqualification restrictions will be investigated and brought to justice. Court not only received a prison sentence, but has now has his disqualification term increased. This should serve as a warning to other banned directors who wish to ignore the law that they will not get away with impunity.” – Department for BIS.
